The first is holding the double flute of Euterpe, the second is hold Clio’s scroll of history, the third has Terpsichore’s lyre, the fourth has the Cithara of Erato, the fifth has Calliope’s stone writing tablet, the sixth holds the tragedy mask of Melpomene, the seventh has the globe or Urania, the eighth has the head veil of Polyhymnia and the ninth hold the comedy mask of Thalia.

3d. A Hymn to Urania
Urania, master of the cosmos, I need your assistance
Come down from the heavens to aid my weary soul
For you are the most powerful muse in all existence
Help me to see the bright stars in my future, for my present is black as coal

Foretell my future and I will dedicate my life to you
Look to the stars and decipher their arrangement
Divide knowledge of what is to come would help to inform all that I do
So please, put on your star speckled cloak and begin your ethereal descent

Aside from knowing my personal works
I summon you to share your wisdom of space
Spreading the story of other stars, planets and beings would lead to many perks
I could use this information to inspire others, making us better as a human race.

4a. November 7th, 1587- Thomas Harriot’s Field Report, Pg. 88
I am struck with awe and hope as I observe the native inhabitants of Roanoke Island and their peaceful interactions with the Europeans. Why today I witnessed a young man learning the basics of servitude from Sir Jacob Markis, a fellow traveler. Jacob instructed the boy to fetch a bundle of wood lying on the ground about 8 meters away. Now language was clearly a barrier as the boy struggled to understand the European for quite some time. However, with some hand gestures and a gentle physical reminder of his place in the newfound social order, which is slowly, but surely developing at this great opportunity-filled island, the young man completed the chore.
This is a small incident but I feel it is a powerful indicator as to the progress we are making. The locals are becoming more responsive to our mission and they are beginning to understand their valuable role in the development of this resource rich land. Perhaps the only discouraging observation I have made is that these natives have not lead themselves to a progressive European lifestyle already. Their ancient roots in this place should have given them adequate time to advance their technology. Living with nature is a lifestyle that all of humanity can benefit from but living in nature, why that’s down right undignified. I will continue to observe the many benefits either side of this cultural exchange are receiving and hopefully, we will save these creatures from becoming degenerates.

7a. The Royal Tyler Theater
7b.
7c. Loki is known as the divine shape shifter among other things and is well versed in the art of illusion. Full of thespians pretending to be those they will never actually be, the Royal Tyler Theater is the place on campus which best embodies Loki’s craft. Of course it is impossible for any mortal to actually shift their shape, however it is possible for one to mask their identity and for a moment, no matter how brief, convince their audience that she or he is anyone or anything. It is a truly divine moment when the human mind becomes so passionately engaged with a story that it forgets the identity of the players.
