Coyote's Crib

Coyote's crib, so to speak, is a vast expanse of desert and grassland situated in a massive valley between the two tallest mountains on his planet.  Coyote's crib is unique due to the fact that Coyote occupies multiple forms depending on his mood; in addition to his common animal form, he may resemble a handsome young man, or an old man, withered but wise.  Coyote's crib must accommodate all of his various forms, and as such it resembles both a creature's habitat and a man's abode. While in his animal form, Coyote spends most of his days exploring and hunting for food, and since he is capable of traveling at great speeds, this calls for a vast area for him to traverse.  Coyote is very sneaky and mischievous, meaning that he sometimes needs places to hide from those he has tricked in the past.  Because of this, Coyote's expanse is filled with secret caves and hidden, underground passageways, and only Coyote himself knows the layout of these caverns.  When Coyote chooses to take his human form as a young man, he keeps himself at peak physical condition by working out and traversing various obstacle courses which he has built for himself. When Coyote chooses to take his human form as an old man, he spends much of his time refining his keen wit and superior intellect by performing many of the challenging puzzles that he also designed for himself.
